For those who missed
Project 3090 this Saturday (Sept 5th), you definitely missed out on a truly remarkable experience. Despite a torrential downpour in the hours leading up to it, the production went off without a hitch. I’ve been a part of several music festivals in the past – some larger, some smaller – yet I’ve never partook in one coordinated so smoothly. This one of a kind Green festival brought entertainment, advocacy and community together unlike any event before it. The carbon-neutral grounds were completely solar and wind turbine powered, and the many on-site recycling stations made it easy to dispose of any non-biodegradable waste products. But, of course, the main draw was the music. So, without any further ado, allow me to offer a small consolation prize… a photoblog of the day’s musical highlights (sans
Ghostland Observatory – because when they got on stage, I only had one thing on my mind…)
